That is when I met him; the man who changed my life. Forever.
I was so tormented inside, but I knew how to hide it well. I couldn't hide it from him though. He tried and tried to help me, but I wouldn't let him in. I couldn't. I was too afraid.
Eventually he left. A year passed, but the pain was still there...Until I learned the lesson that love was trying to teach me. I have to be love from within.
He taught me to see my inner beauty. Beauty that I didn't know existed. Now I know.
Since then, the club has been turned into a place for Indian dining called Something...Palace.
Like seasons, everything continues to change, but a part of me will always remain in the life that he taught me to live.
I wish we hadn't met that autumn evening,
In that place and city, that is now someone's palace.
I wish we could meet now,
Since a new spirit has filled the soul you once new.
If only you knew the girl that exists today,
