I grew up in small town arkansas, but since then have lived in jonesboro, as well as in southwest missouri.. but have been back in AR for about a year and a half now. I'm married (five years!) with a two year old who keeps me on the run... why is it that all that energy is wasted on the young? if i could just find a way to bottle and sell his neverending need for little to no sleep, i'd be a millionaire. anywho... things i love: doing anything or nothing at all with my best friend (my amazing husband!) going to the movies or renting a ton of movies and watching them all in one day!, the comic strip calvin and hobbes, anything chocolate, sleeping in on rainy days with jonathan, HUGE bathtubs, being at the lake in the summer, fountain dr. pepper, and the nissan murano (maybe someday i'll actually own one!) things i gratly dislike: the smell of burnt popcorn, cold feet, being home alone (aagggh!), temperatures below 70 degrees, music where i cant understand the words, and our country's endless and needless "military action" in iraq.

What do you care, honestly? To you I'm nothing more than a pretty face, another person to add. You only want to know what I can do for you which, I assure you, is nothing.

I grew up on country music greats like conway twitty, alabama, george strait, and reba... so when i need comforting that's still where i turn the radio too... but i've also been know to listen to a wide variety of everything from third day and jennifer knapp to whatever happens to be on the rock station at the moment. my current fav is josh turner! that deep voice sounds just like someone else i love!

Sweet Home Alabama, Legally Blonde, Serendipity, Pushing Tin, America's Sweethearts, (ok, anything with John Cusack!) ok... also, Dirty Dancing, Gone with the Wind, Tombstone, McClintock, Erin Brockovich, Runaway Bride, Notting Hill, (ok.. also, anything with Julia Roberts), and most recent addition to the list is Will Smith's new movie Pursuit of Happyness

Blue's Clues, the Wiggles, Doodlebops... seriously, can you tell my son controls the tv?... lol, but when i get to watch i like Grey's Anatomy and Supernanny

The Confessions of a Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella, as well as of the other hilarious books by the same author, such as the Undomestic Goddess (that's me!), also, loved The Painted House, The Last Juror, and The Bleachers by John Grisham, the Anne of Green Gables series, and this freaky book I read about the Titanic called The Memory of Eva Ryker
