hi5 Supporter Program
About the little star, I've just taken a look at NC's profile: I see advertising of course and honestly that little star is not so evident there. I would suggest to put it on the profile picture in the topics and in the message board, to make it really visible.

I think this is a sucker program. Hi5 is turning into a PAID dating service or what??? In fact I found that I had 1600 coins in my account for FREE, and now I actually don't like that "supporter badge" on my picture. Is there a way to remove it? I mean I like hi5, I click on adds to support it, but I don't think this approach would lend you more users and/or money.

@ Luca - You make a good point about the star persisting in group posts etc...something along those lines is in the works!
@Mario - The badge is part of the supporter program, there isn't a turnoff feature currently. Your star will disappear in a month when your supporter subscription runs out. There are lots of other ways to support hi5 still, like clicking on ads, etc, as you mention, and we appreciate you choosing the one that works best for you :)

I have decided not to renew my participation in the hi5 Supporter Program in protest of recent acts of censorship by Customer Support.

OMG, I had this supporter program for a month and now that it has expired I got to keep that ugly badge on my picture. It's ruining the image of my daughter, please remove that badge from my profile. It was a blue badge, but now it's gray and ugly (if you don't support hi5, you get to be punished so the badge turns gray and stays there, to remind you, or what?) You are insulting your users with this. Please remove the badge from my profile. Thanks!

@ Mario .. have you tried replacing the pic with a different one to see if the star disappears? And I dont think hi5 punishes anyone for choosing to not support anymore & they have no intention of insulting anyone.

@ Kathy...I have changed the picture and it's still there...I mean, what if someone supports the program, and can't afford it anymore? He/she will get the gray badge, as in saying: Look, he was a supporter, but now he ain't. I'm just saying, one should not be labeled at all. If you want/can support hi5, fine, otherwise click the ads and stay badge free.

Thanks for pointing this issue out, Mario. The supporter badge should turn grey when your supporter subscription is going to expire, in order to give you time to renew. But it was not supposed to stay there forever, if you don't renew! Apologies, we'll be fixing this soon.
