Black men who prefer white women often often say the cause is that black women are masculine, domineering, greedy....all sort of slurs that could never be directed at black men to justify anything. Some black men would say, does it really matter if a black man prefers a white woman???? It seems that it is all out of black women's jealousy that is making this a big deal.
As for wishing that I could see past skin color. I must admit such kind of statements irritate me.

I personally don't get mad when i see black men with white women. To each his own. I know many african men that prefer african women. Before a woman throws judgement, they better make sure they too dont have it in them to date someone white....

Ma friend told me the only reason he would go for a white woman would be for money but not looks or beauty. That he would prefer hit n run and ma sister said she can never think of hooking up a white unless it's for money purposes. Do u get what i mean?

Suzan when men make statements like that, one tends to find that they have an inferiority complex! Which we cannot deal with. We are used to our men being strong, brave and courageous enough to say when things are not in a manner which they should be, and take a stand for it, regardless of whether domineering or greedy... he will find a way which is NOT abusive to do so.

And in particular a man is bold and understand the type of woman you have described will tell you in simple terms...in describing this woman...what you see is what you get, and he is feeling not inferior at all!!!

What are your opinions on Senghor, Kenyatta and Nkrumah marrying whites (in Kwame's case a fair-skinned Egyptian)? It kind of puzzled me since all these men were key freedom fighters.
