Ircmru, the best Mauritian chat network, has been created since May 2006. Ircmru, a realtime chat network containing three servers, is growing into a vibrant community, where Mauritians from all over the world make friends and share ideas. Ircmru, is not only a chat network, but it is also a place to relax, debate, play trivia, and even listen to radio which is cast by our Djs

Ircmru also has a set of rules and regulations, which enable security of the network. The list of rules and regulations are available on connection to the network. One can safely chat, without fear of channel takeover, impersonation or harassment. Our users are always given great importance and a warm welcome.

The ideology has led to the development of extensive help systems for users in need of assistance. There is also a channel, #help, which has been created especially for new users and for those who have problems in the chatrooms. Irmru’s staff is always working diligently to serve its community of dedicated users.

There is also the #trivia channel which has been created to enable those looking for quizzes and competition to have as much fun as they want. The trivia is online 24 hours everyday of the week, to enable our users to play whenever they feel like.

The network’s existence depends solely upon the goodwill of others. All our Ircmru’s staffs are volunteers who devote themselves selflessly towards the improvement of the network and its users. Our network remains updated with new facilities thanks to our 5 main staff members:

With Ircmru, we are also able to share the Mauritian culture and hospitality with chatters worldwide, and keep a friendly bond amongst our users.
