Not exactly, but there is few similarities between rai & Sunuwar. But sunuwar have own identitly likewise language, script, subcast, cultural dress, chandi dance etc. Its good thing you are searching for own identity (sunuwar). Many people doesn't know about sunuwar cast, many people thinking that rai and sunuwar cast are same or subcast of rai.

Dear DoN! Rai is rai and Limbu is limbu. So on Sunuwar is also sunuwar.
