I thought this up for a couple of reasons, but it is another non-poetic topic.
I noticed that we all go missing every now and then and the reasons may of course vary. This thread is just our room to touch base if we know before hand that we'll be out for a while, concerning other matters in our life.
I know that I was missing for a few days. I was sick. Nothing to write home about:) Just the Summer/Fall mess of hot days and cool days mixed together. NYC can be like that. Hot Monday, cool Tuesday, humid Wednesday...etc etc.
Plus I forced myself out of 'retirement' to play soccer with a group of regulars, in 80* humid weather. Did I mention that we played like three hours between 11am-2pm? Had a headache for a day and a half. But hey I'm better now, so no more complaining!
So guys feel free to log your MIA reports here and I promise no court martials!

Hi guys and also sorry for being missing for a while. I had to cancel my trip in Malaysia due to uncle's death and his yesterday funeral and in addition have been sick for about a week. The flight back home didn't help my nasty bronchitis.
I'll try to catch up very soon. It's just not been my days

Missing someone or realise that you are missed is a beautiful feeling.
It gives more sense to our presence among the people we are loved.
No matter like the droplets of we all come and settle down beneath the unquenched earth.
Still the faith remains that the mist and moistre we left could remind someone of our presence.

Great observatiob Bina. It is the sun that the value of the shade is known. It is when you are missed that you know you are important and loved. You're turning a non-poetic topic into a poem! 'Mist and moisture' - nicely put. The warm drops of a humane presence :)

I look into the faraway mist Trying to see beyond the horizon Searching vainly for the sweet music of a voice I have been cursed not to hear again Too far gone is she Too sharp were my words Too steeply entwined were we In our own spheres That the love beneath Never saw the sun Till it was too late Her soul is gone from here And what can I say now But to imagine her singing Secretly to the night Commanding it to bring her lover I can only miss that splendour now For indeed it is such an easy task To be the reply of the winds of darkness
