Have you ever noted that in latin language the terms which make reference to a group are usually male terms?

How could latin language solve this matter? Is it a similar matter also in English? In German they tend to use male plural too.

True F R, I noted that. And if you think to the English culture ... they had no problem in having great Queens, while France had "Sun Kings" ...
