I love movie theaters, or any theater for that matter. A well-made movie or play takes a roomful of people who have never met and have very little in common, and makes them feel the exact same way at the exact same time. You can sit in the dark with two hundred people you don't know and laugh at the same time. Gasp and shudder and wince at the same time. For those two hours or so you're connected in this very intense way to people you will never see again.

I love movies. I love plays. I love concerts. I'm an energy whore, and it's there for the taking.
