I was born on the island of Trinidad and raised on the island of St Maarten. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Currently residing in Los Angeles where I play music for a living. The best job in the world imo.
I have worked with artists such as Chris Brown, Eric Benet, Heather Headley, New Edition, The Mighty Sparrow, Brandy, George Clinton, Percy Sledge, Marcus Johnson, Michael Ward Euge Groove, Nestor Torres, Jodeci and many others. I have had the pleasure of being the opening act for artists like Kymani Marley, Living Colour, Maxi Priest, Mint Condition, Urban Mystic, Goapele, Maxwell, Eric Benet, Lalah Hathaway etc. I have also appeared on tv shows like the CBS Morning Show w/ Heather Headley, MTV w/ Brandy, The Lady of Soul Awards w/ Heather Headley, Soul Train w/ the Avila Brothers and Girlfriends(The Hustle and Dough episode performing with Tracy Amos)on UPN. I got to play a little guitar on Chris Brown's version of This Christmas. I also had 2 songs featured on the tv Show Lincoln Heights. Keep the checks coming Jack :) I had the the pleasure of playing for Tyrese when he proposed to his fiancee at Brandy's house. Performing at a fundraiser for then senator now President elect Barack Obama in Dallas Texas was a highpoint of my career. I got to meet him and took a picture with him which I am still trying to get from the drummer. Where's the pic man? People won't believe me without the pic. I also tour extensively with jazz violinist Michael Ward. My latest moment of bliss was playing a party for mega producer David Foster. I performed with singer Eric Benet. What an incredible singer he is. I was surrounded by people like Babyface, who used my guitar to perform a song. Wolfgang Puck, Kenny G, Josh Grobin and many others were there also. It was an amazing feeling being around all those very creative people.
I have recently become part of the Swing Mob. The touring band for Jodeci (the greatest r&b group of my generation)in my humble opinion. We are currently rehearsing for our European tour starting February 12th-15th. We also will be doing about 16 US dates staring March 4th at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles.
