Emily is one crazy chick.....I love hanging out with Emily! You never know what to expect from Emily! She can be so spontaneous...some of my favorite memories of Emily are from when we were in Korea. Sometimes during the week when we didn't have specific plans we would pick a random subway stop and meet there with everyone and just wander and explore that area...sometimes it worked other times it did not and we would end up in a restaraurant drawing pictures of everything WE DID NOT WANT! Or like that time when we went into that restaurant that claimed to be "ENGLISH SPEAKING" and we ended up with a plate of ham with a side of mustard AND WE TOLD JIM TO TRY IT EVEN THOUGH WE KNEW HE HATED MUSTARD!!!!!!
I also remember shopping with Emily and our motto then happened to be shop til we drop which we usually would...well, at least drop our stuff off wherever was most convenient and then go out til the wee hours of the morn....
I also remember exploring really interesting villages and sites with Emily and crew...we always had a good time when we were in Korea...particularly down alley ways.....
Or there was the time when we just got back to Vancouver and we were walking down the street in Gastown and a woman walking towards us hit me upside the head and said, "YOU BITCH YOU HATE ME MORE THAN YOU EVEN KNOW!" To which Emily and I stared at each other stunned and she said, I am so glad you didn't react to that woman because I didn't really feel like beating her up....only Emily would say something like that!
So, any time spent with Emily is fun and adventurous! She is a great person to hang out with and one of the greatest shopping buddies EVER! I miss shopping in markets and cannot believe that I lost my haggling abilities....Emily will be sure to help me get them back, I hope!
