DeoxyriboNucleic Acid - a darkly funny tale of lies, betrayal and one unfortunate hamster …
When a high school “it” gang takes a joke too far, the teenagers are left with a choice. Do they own up and face the consequences, or follow the example of the adults around them and cover it up, hoping nobody finds out? DeoxyriboNucleic Acid is about a group of teenagers who are brought together by the act of doing something bad; but when things begin to unravel, their newfound sense of solidarity begins to crack.
DeoxyriboNucleic Acid is a poignant and sometimes hilarious tale with a very dark heart, which challenges contemporary media obsessions over the vulnerability of children and the stereotypical dangers and evils threatening their safety. Set to a hard-core soundtrack - typical of today’s upload generation – this shadowy and often shocking story is dramatically played out in the Lyceum Youth Theatre’s trademark cutting-edge style.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. When a high school 'it' gang takes a joke too far, a lonely and terrified girl is lost. . . isn't she?
A shadowy story played to a hard-core soundtrack in their trademark cutting-edge style. Calling up contemporary media obsessions with real life stories and dodgy old men with rotten teeth, DeoxyriboNucleic Acid is a poignant and, sometimes, hilarious tale with a very, very dark heart.
