Mr. Soontorn Meesri graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Art Education from Chulalongkorn University . While an Art teacher he studied Theatre with Kamron Kunatilaka and classical singing with Dusdi Banomyong and Ralph Schatzki.
He used to teach Art at Arts and Music Center in New Jersey, but preferred to be in the theatre. He was awarded the Actor in Excellence from Pattravadi Theatre in 2001.
In Addition to working in the theatre, he is a painter, a poet, a performance artist, a solo singer and professional actor.
He has worked as a leading actor in Japan, Europe, the USA. and Thailand (including the Crescent Moon Theatre).His works include; King Oedipus, The October Nightmare, The Land Beyond Dream, The Man with The Flower In His Mouth, The Revenge, Rock Bhuritat, Yanpucha, Akaoni, The 1932 Revolutionist, John A. Lone, Lighthouse, The Opera, (a solo performance in English),The Confession of a Sinner, second Bass in Pridi Kitanusara ,in the Opera Madana,Trial by Jury, Narrator in Peter and The Wolf with the Salaya Chamber Orchestra and later with Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, The Noise of Art on Kitavipassana by Atibhop Pataradetpisan, The Tide of Two Countries by Dnu Huntrakul with the Mai-Thai Orchestra, Samveja-Samvasa by Atibhop Pataradetpisan with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, The Octet soloists in Agnus Dei, Mass in D Major by Antonin Dvorak with the Bangkok Music Society Choir and Orchestra, The Parables (in English) by Dan M. Heslink with the Integrated Percussion Ensemble.
His works for Thai and foreign Films include; The Moon Hunter, Aunguli Mara, The Macabre Case of Prom Pi Ram, Queens of Langasuka,Days of Destiny in Bangkok (German film)

จบการ ศึกษาจากภาควิชาศิลปศึกษา คณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ศึกษาศิลปะการละครกับ คำรณ คุณะดิลก และการขับร้องกับดุษฎี พนมยงค์ และ ราล์ฟ ชาทสกี้ เคยสอนศิลปะที่ศูนย์ศิลปะและดนตรีแห่งหนึ่งที่รัฐนิวเจอร์ซีย์ แต่ใช้เวลาส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในโรงละคร
สุนทรเคยได้รับ “รางวัลศิลปินแห่งละครเวที” จากภัทราวดี เธียเตอร์ในปี ๒๕๔๔ นอกจากนั้น สุนทรเป็นจิตรกร กวี performance artist นักร้องเดี่ยว และนักแสดงอาชีพ
