I went to a global development conferenece today with four of my students and my awareness of the injustice, inequality, poverty and violence in underdeveloped countries was expanded. As an activist of poverty and inequality I am aware already but this has sparked new excitment and aspiration to grow not only as a humanitarian but as a person who refuses to sit back and just watch children die and go hungry every night. The statistics are appaling and disgusting. So I ask myself and those around me...... What are u going to do about it? I will spread awareness, give my time, my love, my money ...... but most importantly my hope. It is not a privilege for children to go to school, have clean water, full tummies, play freely, or be without violence and sexual abuse. IT is their right. So make it right and join me in the fight to spread the awareness of Global Development. It is all of our responsibilites. Unity
