What can I say of Andrew. He is more than a good friend, he is a role model. He is more that a gentleman, he is a christian. He is more than worker, he is a statesman. Yup, that's Andrew. We met in the cafeteria of NCU in 1997 as we struck up an unusual conversation. As we laughed out loud a friendship begun that has lasted up until today. Andrew is probably the most humorous person I know, but more than this his humor is not contaminated with evil, rather it is pure. He has a precious gem in Laverda whom he loves and cherishes. The two of them are inseperable and are like playful kittens around each other. I admire them both. So this is a short synopsis of this wonderful man, a prophet of God, and a true friend.
This is that guy that never shy away from giving you a laugh. Drew it is nice to see your face after all these years..I could bearly recognize you without your cameo, but your wonderful wife gave you away. Hope that all is well in JA and I hope to hear you preach in the T-dot soon...May God continue to bless you and your wife where ever you may be
I found you!!! It has been too long for me to even remember...but all those who know Drew know that you just can't help but be his friend. Even when you don't want to be his friend, he will find you. And the preacher thing???? Who know that the mawga boi in de mesh top would be a preacha!!!! But I can't help but smile with I think of Andrew :D
To one of the best little brothers I could ask for. When I see how you have grown into a man I 'm proud to have you as my brother. Your smile and demeaner always has a welcoming offer of caring and love. You are a good man husban brother son and friend. There has never been anywhere that you have gone that there was ever a bad word said. I Love you and Verda and is comforrted by the thought that god will care you both under his wing.
Andrew Mark Phillip Thomas is one of the most honest and genuine persons that I have met (so far). He has a big heart and is always willing to assist. I wish he would learn to say no, but hopefully that will come in time. Andrews love for life and altruism are things that I have admired and been able to learn from. From da gutta to da gusto my boy Drew has done it. Rememba dat. A real smoove, flavafull, jazzy, playa type (u no back in da hood), rock da mike brotha. No doubt, a man on top taking the lead as a blk brotha who has made it through hardship. Holdin' things down with a beautiful gem together they make a "dynamic duo". We go way back to the year 1999+ where things went down on Cedar Hall, NCU. We had the American Canadian connection on lock. Academics, extra curricular, social affairs, preaching, traveling you name it he's been in it. Definetly made for the 21'st Century. Wow, Andrew Thomas...hmmmm Wonderful, honest, down to earth, crazy, retarded, stupid, ok ok :) But honestly Andrew is a great friend, both he and Laverda. WHile I was in Jamaica I had some really rough times and they opened their home and their hearts to me without reservation. I don't how I would have made it alive without them. Andrew always knows what to say and what to not say. He knows how to encourage and how to listen. His answers are always ultimately Christcentered because God is the answer to ALL things. I have learnt alot from him. His commitment to God, his work and his wife is something to be admired. You have allowed God to work through you in showing me that there are still genuine, loving, christian people left in the world. A trued friend indeed...
After all of that what could I possibly say? 'Drew you're awesome! It's not very often that you discover wit, charm, intelligence, charisma, diplomacy, good looks, great sense of style, a love for God, life and people and a commitment to ONE woman all in one person. It's refreshing to know you!
