Anything of quality - especially European directors and the smaller, independent films. "Fargo" is an example of a quality, independent American film.

Not many. Good old classical films mostly. "House" is pretty good - or used to be. Cable has good things. News can be gleaned from anywhere in the world; it is he first time in history that has happened. Our Electronic Age!

***So many it is difficult to select... anything by James Joyce, or any of the great Irish writers & poets, for starters. Gabriel Garcia Marquez and others in his style - the Latin dream writers. Fabulous. Heavy influences on me from my teen years until now. Poetry, also - the great French and British poets, yes indeed!

*** So many, so little space: travel, new cultures, good conversation, helping the disadvantaged, meeting friends on line, learning (still!!) and etc. You get the idea.

Ahh, what a large topic! You tell me yours first... I promise to respond! (Honest) Dreams are a vast subject; I have written in the Journal often on them, Point being: everyone should have at least one! And follow it - anywhere and everywhere.

An inquisitive mind - curiosity about life in every corner of our planet and an empathy with people everywhere; no matter who, what where or when.

Everyone is entitled to attention, respect and affection. This includes "on-line" and Internet friendships. They can be as deep and as valid as any other... sometimes more so! Great things can come from a site like Tagged. Unexpected good things can come from friendship.

***I like people of any age who have consideration for others, humor and a sense of poetry in their souls. I like people who treasure *children* - our most precious companions on life's journey. Friends are great - I hope to find many! Salut amigos!!
