as someone with cp what advice can u give to some1 who has it or has a family member with cp kell
if your a parent with a child with cp if you you have just found out about cp their is diffrent degrees of cp and your child will find was around things so you couldnt feel like its your ffault 75% of people with cerebral palsy over intligent they can live a normal life with help and with understand and talking to other ppl in yyour shoes can help. and with family member having cp if they a younge child then incourage them to be indepent and for some one older talk to them as you would everybody else we are us not cerebral palsy. and if someone has recently found out they got cp either a parent or you yourself then look into stuff you can do theres is sports for disabled rest bite care. also try social services http://www.scope.org.uk/help-and-information/cerebral-palsy-and-associated-impairments?gclid=CJfhq7vP2a0CFasMtAodFW6Qng
and if you are a sibling with someone with cp then be supportive and try researching stuff on cp so you have a better understanding. try not over compensate with treating your sibling any different. obliously if the sibling with cp is really disabled then you might have to be more a carer but you know your sibling and the parent knows the child. it is also a good time too out that not all cerebral palsy is from birth and that babies can suffer from sezuires and stop breathing upto until age 5 and beyond again its a indiviual case. talk to the doctors for more info.
thank u very helpful info
